JOB SUMMARY:

As an integral part of the D-Link Canada team, the Account Executive’s primary responsibilities include identifying and developing sales opportunities with both new and existing business customers in Western Canada. Due to territory location, candidates are ideally based in Calgary or Vancouver areas.

 

  • Define and execute territory sales plans
  • Meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities
  • Hunt and grow revenue/market share in your assigned territory/accounts by driving incremental business
  • Provide product demonstrations and general support to prospective customers
  • Practice effective communication with management, customers and support staff
  • Manage and Track activities and outcomes in SalesForce CRM
  • Travel to customer locations in support of sales efforts (up to 25%)
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

  • Self-starter who can work independently with confidence and initiative and be a strong team player
  • Well organized with ability to work efficiently, prioritize and problem solve    
  • Familiarity with reseller and channel partners
  • Familiarity with networking technologies
  • Pipeline management experience; Salesforce CRM is an asset
  • Finely tuned negotiation and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication, Excel and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
